Drogba Injury - Didier Drogba recently suffered a severe injury while playing football on the game, Didier Drogba injury after a collision with Norwich keeper John Ruddy.
Drogba was knocked themselves and ultimately brought the officer to use boards into the room, after the game the Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas said:
"Doctors do a great job We are looking forward to their welfare as the first person he showed progressive signs of recovery ..."Villa-Boas said he had no problem with Ruddy challenge but said the incident:. "It looks bad enough that he lost consciousness entirely in the field.
"I have very, very grateful, not only for my players but for the Norwich players and medical staff for me to react so quickly to a potentially dangerous situation."
Fear of injury to Drogba is just one of several plays in the game the referee finally decided to do a penalty. From Chelsea’s point of view, losing Drogba, while a blow, isn’t as big a blow as it would’ve been in previous years.
Fernando Torres is looking better, and new signing Romelu Lukaku, while raw, is as big, if not bigger than Drogba, so Chelsea do have options if Drogba is out for a couple of weeks.
